Dr. Gregg is a nationally respected college admissions expert, educator, and advisor with over 30 years of leadership experience across top universities, international schools, and selective counseling firms. With a career rooted in both institutional excellence and student-centered mentoring, Gregg brings unmatched expertise to help students navigate the college admissions process with strategy, clarity, and purpose.
Gregg earned both his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and Master of Education (Ed.M.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he focused on Leadership, Organization, and Governance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Stony Brook University. His academic journey not only reflects a lifelong commitment to education but also equips him with the intellectual and ethical grounding to support diverse learners from around the world.
During his tenure at Harvard University, Gregg served as Associate Director of Admissions at the Graduate School of Education, leading international recruitment and admissions strategy. He later served as an Academic Advisor to first- and second-year undergraduates at Harvard College—providing holistic, developmental support to students at a critical stage of their college journey.
In addition to his institutional roles, Gregg has become a sought-after independent college counselor, helping students gain admission to the world’s most competitive universities, including MIT, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, Brown, Oxford, and UC Berkeley. His counseling philosophy is rooted in fit, authenticity, and whole-person development, guiding students to build compelling applications that align with both their aspirations and their realities.
Gregg’s global perspective is reflected in his teaching and speaking roles. He has taught leadership and organizational behavior at the Burgundy School of Business in France and Salem State University and has delivered keynote presentations on higher education and global citizenship at international conferences in Brazil, Switzerland, Colombia, and beyond.
Parents and students appreciate Gregg’s ability to combine deep institutional insight with a warm, empathetic advising style. As the father of three college graduates, including alumni of Cornell Veterinary School, Hamilton College, and Bates College—Gregg understands the emotional and strategic dimensions of the college journey from both professional and personal perspectives.
At Interface, Gregg is proud to serve families with integrity, wisdom, and care—empowering students not only to gain admission, but to thrive in environments where they will flourish academically, personally, and globally
