As a former admissions officer for the University of Oxford, Toby has helped hundreds of students over the years with applications to leading universities in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, and maintains a network of close friends and companions throughout the university admissions industry.
Toby's experience as an examiner for Oxford's rigorous History Aptitude Test, gained while completing his DPhil at the University of Oxford in the History of Science, allows him to provide in-depth expert support for all aspects of a student's university application journey, including entrance examination preparation, essay writing, course and university shortlisting, references, extracurricular profiles, and more. This experience has culminated in the publication of several bestselling textbooks on UK Admissions, including The Ultimate Oxbridge Collection and The Ultimate History Aptitude Test Guide, among many others.
Toby has completed three degrees at a range of UK universities in the Global top-10 and has also worked as a college counsellor for selective independent schools in the UK and Dubai. He combines this experience with his expertise in university admissions, to provide counsel to his students with a compassionate and supportive approach. He's intimately familiar with the challenges of building a superb university application with rigorous school environments and high expectations, and always helps of his students to overcome them.
