Josh

A 20-year veteran of teaching and college counseling, Josh taught humanities at the Archer School, a private high school in his native Los Angeles, and later served as lead editor at Application Boot Camp, a pioneering college counseling workshop based in Boston. Josh solidified his international experience in his role as Director of International Development for the test preparation company, ArborBridge. In that role he visited over 200 high schools worldwide. 

Josh provides extraordinary guidance and support throughout the entire college process that leads to excellent college outcomes. He enjoys working with a broad range of students, including many who have gained admission to the most selective universities in the country, including Amherst, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, University of Chicago, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. In the 2020 application year, different students gained admission to all eight Ivy League colleges.  

Josh graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English and earned his master’s in public policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Outside of his academic work, he blogs about the college application process on the Huffington Post and Medium.com, and he writes about urban planning for the California Planning & Development Report.
