Zach has spent almost a decade working with students from many backgrounds and the past three years at Interface.  He has recently worked with students at an award-winning high school in North Carolina.

Zach approaches every student with the goal of helping them discover their strengths, interests, and goals. He sees counseling as the art of building relationships that lead to discovery and achievement. Zach understands the importance of finding "the best fit" for each student and teaches them to explore a wide range of selective colleges that will meet their unique needs. Zach loves the process of college exploration and he is eager to help his students develop their skills as scholars, writers, and creative thinkers. He has helped students find their college home at schools such as Vanderbilt, Emory, Notre Dame, and Washington University in St. Louis. Helping students find success, comfort, and empowerment, as they grow into scholars and individuals, is the core of his work.

Zach holds a master's degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was awarded a prestigious merit fellowship and graduated as a finalist for the W. D. Perry Outstanding Student Award.
